We have identified the top 10 LOL players using a pre-compiled list by Joshua Leesman, Martin Lynge, and Chris Smith. The list ranks players on the basis of their current forms, their performance throughout 2017,
and their performance at upcoming and previous world championships. Since these players have appeared at previous world championships, it may be safely assumed that these are all professional players. For each of the 10 players, we confirmed if they streamed their games and either found their Twitch channels or their streams on YouTube. After identifying the top 10 players, we located the requested details for each player individually.

The Twitch channel for one of the players, i.e. Dongha Kim aka Khan (No. 5 on the list), is unavailable. Although the channel exists, it has most likely been disabled because Khan was recently fined and suspended for passing racist comments during a practice game. Because his stream is not available, we were not able to identify the audience size, what he streams, and the tone of his streams.
The worldwide ranking of the top LOL players is subjective in nature. There is no official ranking and everyone ranks players as per their own perception and opinion. This is the reason that we have used rankings of the professional players as found in the pre-compiled list. We have identified the tones of these players in their streams as serious, fun, etc. based on their behavior in their videos. Since some videos are in foreign languages, it was only possible for us to judge their tone based on their body language and facial expressions.
The average audience sizes per stream session for each player is not available because both Twitch and YouTube show only the total number of views for each video. As an alternative, we have included the next best stat for each player on the List. Please also note that since the total number of views can change in a matter of minutes, the number that you find on the links to the videos might be different from what you find on the List.
