- Based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the strongest Avenger is Thor, followed by the Hulk and Scarlet Witch.

OVERVIEW
In this research, we answered the question, which of the Avengers would win in a fight if they all battled each other? We found that the strongest Avenger is Thor, followed by the Hulk and Scarlet Witch. Therefore, if the Avengers battle one another, one at a time or all at once, Thor would win the fight.
WHICH OF THE AVENGERS WOULD WIN?
To answer the question of who would win, we first looked at the list of the strongest Avengers character within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The logic for this is that if these characters battle one another, the strongest character will win. We did not take the characters from the Guardians of the Galaxy and Dr. Strange into consideration in coming up with the top three (3) list of the strongest Avengers. We arrived at the list based on the rankings of several articles found. Below are our findings.
THOR
Thor is said to be the man behind scores of Marvel superheroes. He is the "god of thunder and lightning". His endurance, strength and "resistance to injury" are far greater than that of the majority of "his superhuman race".
According to Stan Lee, Thor can easily win a battle with the Hulk since he is an immortal and a god. Thor had a Mjolnir, but his sister destroyed it. In Odin's view, the Mjolnir was a guide to controlling his powers and not a source of his strength. Thor, as seen in 'Thor: Ragnarok', has been enabled to control his powers outside the help of his Mjolnir. Odin is Thor's father.
The battle between Thor and Hulk took place in the Sakaar arena. In that scene, Thor was able to release thunder, powerful enough to lead the match to a close and thereby winning the fight. Additionally, some articles have ranked Thor consistently in the top three (3) of the MCU heroes. This is so as Thor possesses intelligence, power and strength that can overpower the Hulk. He is referred to as the god of thunder of Asgard.
THE HULK:
The strength of the Hulk is "one of his greatest weapons." From observation, as his anger increases so too his strength. In 'Thor: Ragnarok' it was implied that the Hulk is the “Strongest Avenger.” According to 'The 10 most powerful characters...', his strength is powerful to the degree that he can "out-muscle nearly anything." Additionally, Hulk seems to be smarter as of 'Thor: Ragnarok.' He is formidable, and so far, there has been no known way to kill the Hulk in the MCU making him nearly immortal. Stan Lee states though, that Bruce Banner the human form of Hulk is still a mortal. Most of the article rankings show the Hulk ranking among the Top five (5) strongest characters in the MCU.
According to the Marvel dictionary, Hulk possesses strength that is at the "Class 100 level" of a superhuman. This enables him to lift weights that are in "excess of 100 tons". As was previously stated, his strength emerges when he is angry and increases the angrier he gets.
SCARLET WITCH
The Scarlet Witch has what is referred to as mystic powers. Her powers include creating "hex-spheres", creating armies of people or things to fight her enemies. She was trained in sorcery techniques however she is unable to control her powers.
In the most recent Avengers Infinity War, Wanda Maximoff had shown us up to what extent her powers are capable of doing. She got her telekinesis and energy manipulation powers from Loki’s staff (which housed the mind stone) as a result of the experiments done by Wolfgang von Strucker as shown in the Avengers: Age of Ultron. The Infinity War has shown that Wanda has more control of her powers compared to what was shown in the Age of Ultron and the Civil War. Given that her powers are of the same wavelength as the mind stone, she was able to easily destroy it to prevent Thanos from getting his hands on it. While trying to destroy the stone, she was also able to prevent Thanos, even for just a few seconds, from coming near her and Vision. An article indicated in 'Avengers: Infinity War' explains that this may well be the reason that the Scarlet Witch can become one of the strongest Avengers there is.
The Scarlet Witch has also shown that she has a "range of devastating power" which includes, for example, "telekinesis to telepathy." These powers were on display in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" in the scene where she stopped a train that lost control from crashing. Another instance of her powers was where she pulled out the metal heart of the Ultron chest. Since that time, the powers of the Scarlett Witch have increased.
WHO WOULD WIN?
Having looked at these three MCU superheroes, it is evident that Thor who is a god which such strength and capabilities would win a fight if all the Avengers battled each other. Even though the other superheroes had strengths and powers, it is not likely that immortals could win an immortal in a fight.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, if the Avengers should battle each other, the winner would be the immortal one, Thor. It is not possible for mortals to fight with an immortal and come out as the victor. Therefore, Thor, the god, would emerge as the winner.
