The first five female heads of technology at financial service companies based in New York City include Sonia Wedrychowicz, Ruchika Mann Baweja, Rebecca Spiewak, Lisa Lang, and Bhawana Bhatnagar.
The next five female heads of technology at financial service companies based in New York City include Susan London, Lena Mass-Cresnik, Emilia Sherifova, Alicia Pando and Nancy Boehm.

There were 10 female heads of technology at financial service companies based in New York City that were identifies below as well as in the spreadsheet, however, there was only one email address that could be found during the search.

LARGE FINANCIAL SERVICE COMPANIES
Profiles from financial services companies such as banks, hedge funds, private equity firm, or related financial institutions with over 1000 employees were specifically asked for, so in order to find information for this first set of criteria, we started searching for information on leading financial services companies including, but not limited to, BlackRock, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, American Express, Citi Group, and JPMorgan Chase & Co. Using this strategy, we were able to identify some female heads of technology who were either in the role of CTO, head of technology or similar leadership roles in technology.

FEMALE TECHNOLOGY LEADERS GROUPS, ASSOCIATIONS AND LISTS
The next search was done through various groups and associations for female technology leaders such as Women in Tech, Top Women Tech, and Women in Technology. In addition, we also searched through various pre-compiled lists of top women executives in technology roles, which were provided by Forbes and Financial Times. The idea here was to search through lists containing this type of information and identify top female executives from the financial services' industry based in New York. However, after a thorough search, only limited profiles could be identified that could meet the requirement needed of females working in financial companies with over 1,000 employees.

Since no pre-compiled list of female CTOs, or heads of technology working with financial companies in New York could be found, we did an exhaustive search through LinkedIn for “chief technology officer”, “head of technology” and other similar leadership roles based in New York. After a thorough search for these types of female profiles using the above-mentioned strategies, we were able to find seven profiles that met all the requirements. In addition, we confirmed that these seven females are based in New York, and work with large financial companies such as JP Morgan Chase & Co., American Express, Northwestern Mutual and Charles Schwab.

We then broadened the search criteria and selected an additional three profiles for females in “chief technology officer”, “head of technology” roles that were based in New York and working with financial companies with less than 1,000 employees.

Kindly note that most of the profiles provided in the response have titles such as CTOs and/or head of technology. However, due to the limited availability of such profiles specific to financial companies in New York, we have also included profiles with titles such as Directors and Vice Presidents.

Since 10 profiles were found matching the criteria, we then started to search for email addresses for the 10 females identified. We checked through their individual LinkedIn profiles however, none of the profiles provided emails for any of the individuals.

We then started to search through the company website for any kind of contact information or bios for these people, which could provide us with emails, however, no contact information could be found for any of the individuals through the company websites.

As a last resort, we then searched for the emails through RocketReach, Manta, Hunter.io, and Zoominfo, and was able to find an email for only one of the listed females through these sources. After this search, it was then concluded that the email information for most of the females identified during the search is not readily available on public domain.
